When we first came to Ukraine in 1993, our daughters were 5, 11, and 13 years old. Krista, our youngest, continues to work with us in our ministries and serves as Teen Ministry Director of our new church, Living Word Church in Lviv. Lindsay and Bria returned to the U.S. in May of 2007. Bria is pursuing a career in Christian music, writing her own music and lyrics. Lindsay is working as well as helping Bria in numerous ways, and has sung backup in concerts. They live in Nashville, Tennessee and attend New River Fellowship.

Our calling here is two-fold. We are building Bethel House, a place of ministry and also our home. When completed we will be able to house up to 35 guests comfortably. Primarily this will be temporary housing for Ukrainian Jews emigrating to Israel, needing a place to stay while they liquidate their assets. This type of ministry has not existed previously and many homes were left vacant when their owners left for Israel. Directors of Jewish aid organizations continue to ask us, "When will Bethel House be ready?" It is currently under construction as finances allow.

Other uses of Bethel House will be to host camps for Jewish children, vacation time for Jewish elderly, seminars for all ages, and a quiet place for pastors, missionaries, and rabbis needing a sabbatical with the Lord.

Another area of ministry for us is Living Word Church in Lviv. This church was begun in 2003 with 30 believers who had a desire to start a new church. We are the only church in Lviv which has preaching in English, therefore we have many foreign visitors who choose to attend. Our worship service is in Ukrainian and Russian, but the preaching is done in English with Ukrainian interpretation.

Lviv at Night                |        ". . . and surely they are in debt to them, for if the Gentiles have come to share
                                    |          in their spiritual blessings (the Jews), then they ought also to be of service to
